Currently, in the world, there are about 47.5 million people living with the neurological disorder known as Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s disease was discovered by a German scientist known as Alois Alzheimer’s in the 21st century. Alzheimer’s is a disease which develops in many people around mid-adulthood. Alzheimer’s disease is when an individual’s brain starts to degenerate because of neuronal loss and also when the neurotransmitters decline their function. Alzheimer’s is when an individual is losing their memories because of their neurons touching each other and their messages are going everywhere because there is no synaptic gap. This is a serious problem. The three stages of Alzheimer’s disease and they are preclinical, mild cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer’s dementia. There are multiple changes in the brain before and after Alzheimer’s.
